Edison High School was filled with the energy and excitement of marching bands on Saturday, September 14th, as 11 schools gathered to compete in a thrilling showcase of musical talent and precision.

Principal Charlie Ross, was a constant presence at the Edison High School band competition from start to finish. The pride in his voice was undeniable as he spoke about the Edison High School marching band. “Band director Mark DeNicuolo is our Bill Belichick , and drum major Ryan Lin is our Tom Brady,” Ross exclaimed. “This competition is fantastic and our parents’ support is invaluable. I’m proud for our marching band.” His words echoed the sentiment of the entire community, celebrating the dedication and talent of these young musicians and the unwavering support from their families and educators
The JP Stevens marching band delivered a stellar performance achieving the highest overall score of 75.70. Their exceptional musicianship and showmanship clearly resonated with the judges, setting them apart from the competition. While Edison High School graciously hosted the event, they did not participate in the scoring, allowing the focus to remain solely on the competing bands.
Each band brought their unique style and flair to the field, captivating the audience with intricate formations, powerful melodies, and dynamic performances. The competition was fierce, with each group striving to impress the judges and earn top honors.
