Edison Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal Shooting On Clive Hills Road

Igor Kirilenko of Keasebey was arrested by the Edison Police Department on Sunday, February 16, 2025, following a fatal shooting at the residence of 36 Clive Hills Rd. The fatal incident occurred around 6:30 PM on Sunday evening leaving one person dead. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

Deputy Chief Bob Dudash referred all inquiries to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, who have yet to comment on the situation. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and any potential motives.

“We’re all waiting to hear something official from the Chief or the Mayor. It’s unsettling to have something like this happen and not have any direct communication from our town leaders. We need accurate information, and we need it directly from the source, not just rumors and social media speculation” said Councilman Rich Brescher.

This is a developing story, and more information will be released as it becomes available. Mayor Joshi and Chief of Staff Bob Diehl did not respond to request for comment.
