American Legion Post 435 Gears Up for Give Back to the Vets Car Show

Edison, NJ – American Legion Post 435 is thrilled to announce the return of their “Give Back to the Vets” car show, scheduled for Saturday, September 14th, with a rain date of Sunday, September 15th. The event will take place at the American Legion Post 435, promising a day filled with classic cars, community spirit, and a tribute to our veterans.

Building on the success of their inaugural car show, Post 435 is pulling out all the stops to make this year’s event even bigger and better. Set up and registration will begin at 11:30 AM, with the main event running from 1 PM to 4 PM. Car enthusiasts can expect an impressive display of vehicles across various classes, with trophies awarded in each category.

Once again, the event will feature the talents of Board of Education member Chris Lugo, who will be providing live entertainment throughout the day. Adding to the festivities, fellow BOE member Doug Schneider has generously donated a pig roast, ensuring a delicious culinary experience for all attendees.

“We are definitely building on the success of our last car show,” said Dave Tingle, Commander of American Legion Post 435. “This is a fantastic opportunity to bring the community together and celebrate our shared love of cars. We are especially grateful to Chris Lugo for his generous contribution of time and talent and Doug Schneider for stepping up and roasting the pig.”
