The Edison High School girls basketball team continued their winning ways with a 46-33 victory over Perth Amboy at home, improving their record to 6-5 on the season. The Eagles were led by a freshman duo, Susan Oshinski and Carmela Arana, who took charge on the court.

Oshinski was the game’s high scorer, dropping 16 points while hitting four three pointers. Arana was solid all around, adding 10 points of her own and making key plays on both ends of the floor.

While the freshmen led the way, it was a solid team effort that secured the win for Edison. The Eagles played strong defense throughout the game, limiting Perth Amboy’s scoring opportunities and forcing turnovers.

Perth Amboy was led by Izabella Pardo, who battled hard and put up 16 points in a losing effort. However, the Panthers struggled to find consistent offensive rhythm against Edison’s stifling defense.
