The Edison High School girls’ volleyball team continued their strong start to the season with a decisive victory over Iselin, improving their record to an impressive 5-2.
The Eagles were led by a standout performance from Cheyenne Singer, who racked up seven kills and nine service points. Sachita Balamurugan also made significant contributions with 10 service points, four kills, and four digs. Ainie Syed orchestrated the offense with precision, tallying 14 assists to go along with two digs.
Edison’s determination was evident in the final score, securing the first set 25-22 and cruising through the second set 25-13.
The team is now gearing up for their next challenge, a match against St. Thomas Aquinas on September 23rd. With their current momentum and talented roster, the Eagles are poised to continue their winning streak.
