Edison High School Football Team Gears Up For Home Opener On August 29th

The Edison High School football team is gearing up for a fresh start in the 2024 season. Participating in the competitive Big Sky Conference National Silver Division, the Eagles are determined to improve upon last year’s 3-7 record. Led by Head Coach Matt Yasko, the team is focused on turning the page and moving forward.

At the Big Sky Central Media Day on August 8th, Coach Yasko was accompanied by key senior players, including quarterback Anthony Calantoni, offensive lineman Justin Boslet, and receiver Dedrick Harvey. Coach Yasko emphasized the importance of leaving the past behind, stating that every year presents a new opportunity, regardless of previous successes or setbacks.

Justin Boslet echoed his coach’s sentiments, acknowledging areas for improvement from last season and expressing the team’s eagerness to progress together. The players are excited about the upcoming season and eager to showcase their hard work.

The Eagles will kick off their 2024 campaign with a home game against East Brunswick on August 29th at 7:00 PM. The team is ready to take the field and demonstrate their commitment to growth and success.
