The Edison High School wrestling team continued their strong start to the season with a dominant 48-33 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas at home last night. This win brings the Eagles to an 2-1 record, bouncing back nicely from a tough loss early in the week.

The Eagles victory was led on the strength of several key pins, showcasing their aggressive and opportunistic wrestling style. Leading the charge were Jeremy Negron, Fernando Avellon, Justin Duggan, and Caleb Gluchowski, all of whom pinned their opponents, swinging the momentum firmly in Edison’s favor.

While the individual performances were noteworthy, it was the team’s overall energy and determination that truly fueled the victory. Edison wrestlers consistently demonstrated strong takedowns, escapes, and reversals, controlling the pace of the match and keeping St. Thomas Aquinas on the defensive.

This win builds important momentum for the Eagles as they head into the heart of their schedule. With a talented roster and a growing sense of confidence, Edison wrestling is poised to make some noise this season.
