Edison Baseball Rallies for Allie Ewing Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Edison Boys Baseball League (EBBL) is gearing up for a weekend of fun, competition, and community support with the USABL Summer Slam tournament on July 20th and 21st. This event will not only showcase the talents of young baseball players but also raise funds for the Allie Ewing Memorial Scholarship, a tribute to a young community member who tragically passed away last year.

Alexandra “Allie” Ewing, a beloved member of the Edison community, left behind a legacy of joy and kindness. The Ewing family has been an integral part of the local community, and this tournament is an opportunity for the EBBL to give back and support the Allie Ewing Memorial Scholarship.

    Tournament Details

    • When: Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st
    • Where: Edison Boys Baseball Fields
    • Why: All proceeds benefit the Allie Ewing Memorial Scholarship

In addition to exciting baseball games, the tournament will feature a snack stand with all sales going towards the scholarship fund. EBBL is currently seeking volunteers to help run the snack stand on both days of the tournament. If you’re interested in lending a hand, please sign up for a shift.

The EBBL is also selling commemorative t-shirts to support the scholarship fund. Let’s come together as a community to celebrate Allie’s memory and support her family. Allie’s brother Buddy Ewing will be playing at 12 and 2 if you would like to stop by and support him and his team.

    In Memory of Allie Ewing (August 17, 2011 – July 9, 2023)
