The Edison girls tennis team extended their three match winning streak with a 5-0 victory over Monroe, improving their record to an impressive 10-3. The Eagles showcased their strength and depth across the board, with standout performances in both singles and doubles matches.

Nandini Chandra led the charge for Edison with an exceptional performance at first singles, sweeping her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Khaliyah Revan continued her strong season with a commanding 6-1, 6-2 win at second singles, while Lojein Elgebrawi secured the third singles point with a hard-fought 6-3, 6-4 victory.

While the first doubles pair of Breanna Smithen and Vijeta Garg lost a close match, the second doubles team of Sanaya Patel and Liz Reyes lost as well. Despite these setbacks, the Eagles’ overall strong singles play ensured a comfortable win for the team.

This latest victory highlights the continued success of the Edison girls tennis program. With a strong record and a talented roster, the Eagles are poised to make a deep run in the upcoming tournaments.
