Edison, NJ – The John P. Stevens Marching Band hosted the 36th Annual Marching Band Festival on Saturday, September 28th, welcoming 14 area high school marching bands to compete in a dazzling display of musical talent and pageantry.
The festival, a beloved annual tradition, saw bands from across the region showcasing their hard work and dedication. Each band brought their unique style and energy to the field, performing intricate routines filled with impressive formations, powerful music, and vibrant colors.
Edison High School emerged as a clear victor, taking home 1st place in the AAA category and securing the coveted Mayor’s Cup for the best overall band. Their performance captivated both the audience and the judges, demonstrating exceptional musicality, precision, and showmanship.
The event was a resounding success, not only due to the incredible performances but also because of the strong community support. Numerous volunteers, including parents and families, dedicated their time to ensure the smooth running of the festival.
