The Edison community will gather to honor the memory of beloved Edison Police Sergeant Joe Luistro and raise funds to battle ALS at a special event on Sunday, October 6th, 2024.

The event, held at the Woodbridge Brewing Company from 1:00 p.m. onwards, will celebrate Luistro’s life and his valiant fight against ALS.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the MAC Angels Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting ALS patients, their families, and caregivers. The foundation provides vital resources, support, and compassion during some of life’s most difficult moments.

“We invite you to be a part of a cause close to our hearts,” said Mildred Luistro, Joe’s wife. “The MAC Angels has been a beacon of hope for families, like ours, navigating the challenges of ALS.”

“Every donation, every contribution, helps lighten the load for those on the ALS journey,” Mildred said. “Your support can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families.”

The event aims to ensure the MAC Angels can continue their crucial work and extend their reach to even more families in need.
