    Edison’s Dr. Edward Aldarelli Honored with NJ Visionary Superintendent Award

    Edison Township Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Edward Aldarelli, has been recognized with the prestigious NJ Visionary Superintendent Award, a testament to his dedication to innovative education strategies and his commitment to student success.

    Dr. Aldarelli, who boasts over 25 years of experience in public education, initially joined the Edison Township Public Schools in October 2020 as the Director of Human Resources. He stepped up to serve as Acting Superintendent of Schools in December 2022, leading to his official appointment as Superintendent in July 2023. His journey in education began as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher, providing him with valuable insights into the needs of students and educators.

    As Superintendent, Dr. Aldarelli is a champion for progressive educational approaches that harness the power of technology to promote inquiry, discussion, and high levels of student engagement. His vision aligns perfectly with the mission of ClassLink, the organization behind the NJ Visionary Awards.
