Fact Checking Policy

NXYNEWS reporters, writers, and correspondents must be accurate and precise with their stories, headlines, and URLs. Reporters must recognize that words are impactful and must use them responsibly. Consequently, information gathered must be substantiated. Validating information consists of identifying names and titles, as well as including the validation of factual statements and accounts. Reporters must fact check their own stories along with the guidelines of NYXNEWS ethics policy.
