The inaugural cricket season for JP Stevens High School has made history. The team remained undefeated throughout the regular season, culminating in an exhilarating championship victory against the second-place finalists, West Windsor Plainsboro South.
The JPS Cricket Club faced off against three formidable high school teams this season, including Monroe Township, West Windsor Plainsboro North, and West Windsor Plainsboro South. Under the guidance of the passionate coach Hermat Persad and advisor Ms. LeBron, the twenty-member team showcased exceptional talent and collaborative spirit.
Led by the skilled captain Vedant Naik, the squad’s exceptional players consistently demonstrated outstanding communication and athletic prowess, solidifying their position as the top cricket team among the four competing high schools. Their remarkable achievement is a testament to their unwavering dedication and exceptional abilities on the cricket field.
