Last night at approximately 7:00 PM, a box truck became wedged under the notoriously low-hanging structure, prompting a swift response from emergency services and a Nixle alert from Edison Township.
The alert, issued shortly after the incident, declared Suttons Lane closed in both directions between Fairview Avenue and Central Avenue due to a motor vehicle accident. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes as authorities worked to clear the scene.
