Tingle’s People’s Choice Ticket Starts Strong with Campaign HQ Grand Opening

Edison, NJ – The People’s Choice ticket, led by Mayoral candidate Dave Tingle along with Council candidates Gloria Dittman, Elizabeth Conway and and Samiksha Sharma celebrated the grand opening of their campaign headquarters on Friday, August 1st, with a strong show of community support. The event, held at 1043 Amboy Ave in the Clara Barton section of Edison, drew a crowd of over 100 people, signaling a groundswell of enthusiasm for the campaign’s message of a more responsive local government.

“We picked Clara Barton for a reason,” Tingle said to the assembled crowd. “It’s the heart of Edison. The foot traffic, the energy, the voices of everyday residents. And the message we heard loud and clear tonight? People don’t feel heard. We’re here to change that.”

The campaign headquarters is intended to be a hub for community engagement, with Tingle emphasizing an open-door policy. “Our campaign is about listening & working for you. That’s why our door is always open. Literally. If you see it open, come in! Grab a yard sign, ask questions, get involved.”

The diversity of the crowd was a key theme of the night, with Democrats, Republicans, and Independents all present. “Tonight’s turnout was as diverse as Edison itself,” said Felecia Perez “Democrats, Republicans, and Independents united because this campaign is bigger than politics. It’s about real leadership, real results, and restoring trust.”

The campaign is actively seeking volunteers and donations to support its efforts. Those interested in getting involved can visit the campaign’s website, tingleformayor.com, for more information on how to contribute to the “Let’s build a better Edison” initiative. The People’s Choice ticket hopes to continue building on this momentum as the election season progresses, with its new headquarters serving as a central point for community-driven change.

The campaign has also announced its next community event, a meet and greet on Wednesday, August 7th. The gathering will take place at Bombay Spice, located at 95 Lincoln Highway, from 7-9 PM.
