Residents in the southern sections of the township are experiencing service disruptions, including low water pressure or a complete lack of water.
Edison Water Utility crews are currently on-site assessing the damage and working to isolate the break. The location of the break is still unknown, and there is currently no estimated time for full water service restoration.
Due to the water main break, the Edison Township municipal building will have a delayed opening until 10:00 a.m., but it is likely to remain closed for the entire day.
