Middlesex County – Authorities have identified the body discovered in an area of the Raritan and South rivers the morning of August 8th, as 45-year-old Reynaldo Salcedo Tavarez of Edison.
New Jersey State Police Marine Service Troopers responded to the scene behind the Middlesex County Landfill around 7:40 a.m. following reports of a body floating in the water.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Tavarez’s death remains active, and no further details have been released at this time.
