Edison, NJ – The community is mourning the loss of Carol Luistro, a beloved mother of two, who tragically passed away in a tragic accident during a family camping trip on June 30, 2024. A sudden and severe storm brought down a massive tree onto the cabin where Carol and her family were staying, ending her life at the young age of 45.

Carol is remembered as an exceptional wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Her warm smile and zest for life were infectious, making her a cherished member of her community. Friends describe her as selfless and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Carol’s husband, Lloyd, and their two sons, Daniel (15) and Max (12), during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will help the family cover immediate expenses, as well as provide for the boys’ education and future needs.

The outpouring of support for the Luistro family has been immense, with friends, family, and community members coming together to honor Carol’s memory and ensure her children have the resources they need.

“I’m praying for their family to stay strong,” another friend shared. “Please join us in honoring Carol’s legacy and helping her children.”
