Middlesex County, NJ โ€“ The sounds of summer are set to fill Middlesex County’s parks once again as the beloved Music-in-the-Park free summer concert series makes its highly anticipated return. Running from June through September, this year’s series promises an exciting lineup of diverse musical acts, and for the first time, introduces a dedicated Children’s Summer Series designed to engage and entertain younger audiences.

Concerts will be held at picturesque locations across the county, including Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, Thompson Park, Spring Lake Park, Joseph Medwick Park, and Johnson Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to comfortably enjoy the performances. All events are free and open to the public.

A significant new addition for 2025 is the Children’s Summer Series, offering two special evenings of music and hands-on activities tailored specifically for kids. These events will feature bilingual music education and engaging puppet-making workshops. The Children’s Summer Series will take place on Thursday, July 24, at Spring Lake Park and on Thursday, August 21, at Johnson Park, from 5 PM to 7 PM, featuring Bilingual Birdies and the Children’s Museum of Central NJ.

Beyond the entertainment, the Music-in-the-Park series also serves a vital community cause. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support REPLENISH and Feeding Middlesex County, organizations that will be on-site at each concert to collect donations and assist local families in need. For more information on this initiative, visit feedingmiddlesexcounty.org.
