Statistics indicate that approximately 80,000 single-parent households exist in New Jersey, with 80% of these led by single mothers. Financial difficulties are commonplace among these families, making essential back-to-school purchases a considerable challenge.
The S.M.A.R.T Foundation’s backpack drive is a testament to their commitment to ensuring that no single mother or child goes without the crucial support they deserve.
