Edison, NJ – Mark your calendars for a spectacular day of free, family-friendly entertainment as the annual Celebrate Middlesex County event returns to Roosevelt Park in Edison on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
This popular annual celebration showcases the diverse programs, services, and dedicated individuals of Middlesex County’s government. You can explore interactive booths and displays from various County offices and partners, gaining insight into the myriad offerings available to residents. Expect a day packed with exciting activities like delicious food vendors, live entertainment, games, activities, the popular Touch-a-Truck exhibit, arts and crafts, historical reenactors, face painting, photo ops, an inflatable obstacle course, caricature and airbrush artists, a Fife and Drum group, and musket firings.
Be sure to catch the exciting performances and presentations on the main stage throughout the day:
- 10:30 AM: Thunderbird (Land Acknowledgment and Dance) followed by Andina Roots.
- 11:25 AM: The Shoot Hoops Award Ceremony, a performance by Raíces Cultural Center – Bomba y Plena, and the East Brunswick Magnet School Dance Team.
- 12:25 PM: The Recycling Drawing Award presentation.
- 12:30 PM: The Fishing Derby Awards, followed by performances from Middlesex College’s Camp Middlesex Dance Camp, Sudhamini Dance, and the Bravura Orchestra.
A special highlight of the day will be the annual Fishing Derby for children ages 4 to 14. This is a fantastic chance for young anglers to test their skills and win incredible prizes.
