The Edison Elks Lodge is home to Taubenslag Productions’ Theater Camp, a beloved summer tradition for young performers in the community. Now in its 35th year, the camp continues to provide a unique and enriching experience for children of all skill levels.

The camp’s unique structure allows campers to delve into the world of theater while enjoying classic summer activities. Mornings are dedicated to rehearsals and performances, where campers work together to bring stories to life on stage. Afternoons are filled with swimming, games, competitions, and other fun activities, ensuring a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for all.

At the heart of Taubenslag Productions’ Theater Camp is a commitment to building confidence and self-esteem in each camper. The camp fosters a supportive and encouraging environment where children are celebrated for their unique talents and encouraged to step outside their comfort zones. Campers learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, and perseverance, all while having a blast.

The camp recently moved to its new permanent home at the Edison Elks Lodge, offering even more opportunities for fun and learning. With a spacious outdoor swimming pool, basketball courts, and other amenities, campers have plenty of space to play and socialize. The camp’s new Big Top Performance Tent provides a vibrant and exciting venue for rehearsals and performances.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Taubenslag Productions’ Theater Camp is its strong sense of community. Campers and staff alike form close bonds, creating a supportive and encouraging “family” atmosphere. Many parents have praised the camp for its positive impact on their children’s confidence and social skills.

Taubenslag Productions’ Theater Camp offers a variety of sessions throughout the summer, catering to children of all ages and experience levels. Whether your child is a seasoned performer or a first-time actor, the camp provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where they can explore their passion for theater.
