This vibrant celebration of jazz music and community spirit will span five cities across the county, bringing together great music, food, and friendly faces.

The festival is a true testament to the power of collaboration. Born from the shared passion for jazz music among leaders in various towns, the event has grown from strength to strength, adding Carteret to its roster this year. It’s a testament to the enduring appeal of jazz and the deep-rooted musical talent within Middlesex County.

    Edison Sets the Stage

The festival kicks off in Edison at the picturesque Papaianni Park. Seating opens at 4:45 p.m., so arrive early to secure a good spot. The evening promises a diverse lineup of talented musicians, starting with the energetic JP Stevens High School Dance Troupe at 5:45 p.m. The Off the Hook Quartet will then take the stage, followed by the soulful sounds of the Carrie Jackson Quartet. The grand finale will feature the renowned Akiko Tsuruga Quartet, sure to leave the audience wanting more.

Don’t miss the chance to meet the musicians and grab a signed CD after their performances. Remember, the event is free and fully accessible, thanks to the generous support from the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners through the Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.
