The vehicle collided with and downed a traffic light pole, rendering the signal inoperable. Edison Police and the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) responded to the scene to manage traffic flow and begin repairs.
Emergency personnel are working to restore the downed pole and traffic signal. Edison Police are investigating the cause of the accident, and drivers are advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible.
