By The Edison Reporter Staff on December 14, 2024 Current Events

    Sunday, December 15th, 2024 – Noon to 2 PM

Location: 1700 Oak Tree Road (front of Apna Bazar), Edison, NJ 08820

Collection Box: Veenus Flowers 1700 Oak Tree Rd Unit # 16, Edison, NJ 08820 (open 7 days a week)

    Items Needed:

    • Non-perishable canned vegetables
    • Pasta
    • Breakfast cereals
    • Noodles
    • Sauces
    • Peanut butter
    • Granola bars
    • Cooking oils

The Holiday Wakeup Edison’s Food Collection Drive is an effort to help those in need during the holiday season. We are collecting non-perishable food items to donate to local food pantries.

    How You Can Help

    • Donate non-perishable food items at our collection drive on Sunday, December 15th from Noon to 2 PM.
    • Drop off non-perishable food items at our collection box at Veenus Flowers any day of the week.
    • Volunteer your time to help us collect and sort food donations.

Many Edison residents are struggling due to high inflation and unemployment. They are turning to food pantries for help. We are asking for your help to ensure that these families have enough to eat this holiday season.

If you would be able to donate enough to feed a family of four, that would be super helpful. Please refer to the attached flyer for a list of suggested food items.

Hands of Hope has been feeding hundreds of families for 20 years. We are committed to helping those in need in our community. We are also looking for volunteer children and parents to come and support us at the venue. This is a great way to raise awareness for community service among children and residents.

Please Come and Support the Most Needy Edison Residents

We are trying hard to collect for the most needy for the holidays. Please come and help us make a difference in the lives of others.

    Thank you for your support!
