Edison, NJ – A water main break at the intersection of Route 27 and Talmadge Road has caused significant traffic disruptions since this morning. The break, which occurred in front of the Pines Manor, has reduced traffic flow on Route 27 to one lane in both directions.
Crews from the utility company are actively working to repair the water main and restore full service. They are working through the night and expect to have the repairs completed by Christmas morning. At that time, both lanes of traffic in each direction on Route 27 are anticipated to reopen.
