The Edison Police Department is proud to announce its sponsorship of National Night Out, a community-building event designed to strengthen the relationship between residents and law enforcement. This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, August 6th, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the scenic Lake Papaianni.
National Night Out offers a unique opportunity for residents to interact with police officers in a relaxed and informal setting. Attendees can look forward to a wide range of activities, including a thrilling helicopter flyover, photo opportunities with McGruff the Crime Dog, and the opening of the splash park for the first 100 guests.
The movie night promises to be a highlight of the event, with a family-friendly film being screened under the stars. Additionally, various informational booths will be set up to educate the public about crime prevention and safety tips.
